AVHOS – UYAP Integration Plugin Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 26 March 2026
ARTICLE 1 – PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This AVHOS – UYAP Integration Plugin Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets out the principles regarding privacy, data processing, use of permissions, security and user confidentiality in relation to the use of the browser plugin developed for the AVHOS Legal Automation System.
This Policy applies to the use of the extension developed by AVHOS, which facilitates the transfer of specific data, files, documents and records—displayed via UYAP in accordance with the user’s explicit instructions—to the AVHOS system.
The extension is designed to operate solely within the scope of the user’s explicit consent and the actions they initiate. It does not include any functionality that runs continuously in the background, monitors user behaviour, collects data, or transfers data without the user’s consent.
ARTICLE 2 – DATA CONTROLLER AND CONTACT DETAILS
To the extent that the processing of personal data is involved within the scope of the plugin, the data controller is:
Name: AVHOS Legal Automation Systems
Email: info@avhos.com
Website: www.avhos.com
The processing procedures following the transfer of data via the Plugin to the AVHOS system are further governed by the AVHOS Privacy Policy and the Information Notice on the Processing of Personal Data.
ARTICLE 3 – OPERATING PRINCIPLE OF THE PLUGIN
The AVHOS – UYAP Integration Plugin operates solely within the scope of transfer operations initiated by the user’s explicit command. The plugin does not perform any data retrieval, scanning, monitoring, background analysis or automatic data collection activities that are not manually initiated by the user.
The add-on performs operations only to the extent necessary to fulfil the relevant transfer function on specific documents, files, data fields and transaction screens within UYAP that are accessible to the user. The purpose of the add-on is to ensure that content which the user views or accesses via UYAP is transferred to the AVHOS system, again at the user’s explicit discretion.
ARTICLE 4 – USE OF THE activeTab PERMISSION
The add-on uses the activeTab permission, which grants access to the open tab in the browser, solely within the scope of a process manually initiated by the user on the UYAP tab currently open.
This permission;
- Executing the transfer command explicitly initiated by the user,
- Accessing only the necessary data fields displayed in the relevant UYAP tab,
- Reading information that is technically essential for the transfer
.
The extension does not monitor the user’s other tabs, other websites, or browsing activities outside of UYAP using the activeTab permission. No active access is performed unless the user explicitly initiates the process.
ARTICLE 5 – USE OF HOST PERMISSIONS
The extension uses limited host permissions solely for the purpose of accessing pages within the UYAP system that are technically necessary for viewing specific documents, downloading files, viewing data, or transferring data.
These permissions;
- Solely to fulfil the technical function of the add-on,
- To transfer data and documents selected at the user’s explicit request to the AVHOS system,
- and to provide limited access to relevant pages and resources on UYAP
.
The add-on does not use the host permission to access, browse, collect data from, track advertisements on, monitor user behaviour on, or interfere with websites outside of UYAP.
ARTICLE 6 – USE OF THE STORAGE PERMISSION
The storage permission used by the extension is used solely for the purpose of storing limited preferences, settings and technical session information locally on the device, as required for the extension’s functionality.
Within this scope, in the storage area:
- User preferences,
- Technical operation settings,
- Temporary session data,
- Limited configurations that facilitate the workflow
may be stored.
In the storage area, unless otherwise explicitly stated, UYAP content, full document data, client files, sensitive legal content or confidential data are not stored permanently. The add-on does not use the storage area as a data archive.
ARTICLE 7 – REMOTE CONNECTION, API COMMUNICATION AND REMOTE CODE PRINCIPLE
The add-on may communicate with the AVHOS system’s verified and secure API endpoints for the purpose of carrying out transfer operations explicitly initiated by the user.
This communication;
- Processing the transfer request,
- Linking the user to their AVHOS account,
- Securely transferring the relevant data to the user’s account,
- Ensuring technical validation and transaction integrity
.
The extension does not establish a remote code mechanism that can be remotely controlled by third parties, whose functionality can be altered subsequently through external intervention, or which can be executed without the user’s knowledge. Connections made via the extension are limited solely to the execution of the extension’s defined functions.
ARTICLE 8 – NATURE OF THE PROCESSED DATA AND PURPOSE OF PROCESSING
As a rule, the plugin does not operate as an independent data collection tool. However, in accordance with the user’s explicit command, the following types of data may be processed:
- The contents of files and documents viewed or selected by the user on UYAP,
- File name, file number, folder information, date information and similar metadata relating to the document,
- Technical validation data required for the transfer process,
- Limited log records for transaction security and error detection,
- Session/account information required for linking to the user’s AVHOS account.
These data are processed solely for the following purposes:
- To carry out the data transfer process explicitly requested by the user,
- To ensure technical integration between the AVHOS system and the add-on,
- To ensure transaction security, accuracy and traceability,
- To carry out technical troubleshooting, security checks and support processes,
- To act in accordance with legal obligations.
ARTICLE 9 – PRINCIPLES OF DATA PROCESSING
The plugin shall under no circumstances use user data for the purposes of advertising, marketing, profiling, behavioural analysis, retargeting, commercial sales or providing data to third parties.
Processed data is used solely:
- Data transfer based on the user’s explicit instruction,
- Secure data transmission to the AVHOS system,
- Technical support and security processes,
- Compliance with legal obligations
and to the extent necessary.
Data processed via the plugin is not analysed in the background outside the user’s explicit transaction, is not transferred to third-party data pools, is not shared with advertising networks, and is not used for user behaviour mapping.
ARTICLE 10 – TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
Data processed within the scope of the plugin may be transferred to the AVHOS system in accordance with the user’s explicit instruction. This transfer is carried out solely for the purpose of fulfilling the plugin’s core function and is limited to the necessary data.
Data shall not be transferred to third parties unless required by applicable legislation. Data may be shared in accordance with relevant legislation upon a lawful request from authorised public institutions and organisations, courts, or legally authorised authorities.
ARTICLE 11 – DATA SECURITY
AVHOS takes care to implement appropriate technical and administrative measures to ensure the security of data processed or transferred within the scope of the plugin. In this context, depending on the nature of the data;
- Secure connection protocols,
- Authentication and authorisation mechanisms,
- Logging and transaction monitoring,
- Access restrictions,
- Encryption and security controls where necessary
may be applied.
However, the user acknowledges that an absolute guarantee of security cannot be provided due to the nature of the internet environment, browser infrastructures, third-party systems and external platforms.
ARTICLE 12 – USER OBLIGATIONS
The User;
- shall use the Add-on solely in relation to the accounts and transactions for which they are authorised,
- possesses the necessary legal authority over the data accessed via UYAP,
- will act in accordance with legislation and professional standards regarding the data they transmit,
- is responsible for ensuring that personal data belonging to third parties is processed in accordance with the law,
- shall not use the plugin for unauthorised, unlawful or abusive purposes
hereby acknowledges, declares and undertakes.
ARTICLE 13 – STORAGE AND LOCAL STORAGE PRINCIPLE
As a general rule, the add-on does not permanently archive user data within itself. Data or documents that are not technically necessary are not retained within the add-on environment. The use of local storage is designed to be as limited, proportionate and technically necessary as possible.
The subsequent storage, processing, deletion, destruction and security processes of data transferred to the AVHOS system are carried out in accordance with AVHOS’s relevant privacy and data protection policies.
ARTICLE 14 – COMPLIANCE WITH DEVELOPER POLICIES
The extension has been designed in accordance with current browser store rules, developer programme policies, the principle of data minimisation, the appropriate use of permissions, and the principle of user-initiated actions.
The extension:
- does not collect sensitive data,
- Does not track user behaviour,
- Does not use unnecessary permissions,
- Does not process data for advertising or marketing purposes,
- It does not perform background data transfers without the user’s knowledge.
ARTICLE 15 – POLICY CHANGES
AVHOS may update this Policy in line with changes in legislation, technical requirements, updates to add-on features, or security requirements. The updated text shall take effect from the date of publication.
ARTICLE 16 – ENTRY INTO FORCE
This AVHOS – UYAP Integration Plugin Privacy Policy comes into force on the effective date specified above and governs the privacy principles relating to the plugin.
